SECC Volunteers Needed

For help with recruitment, feel free to share the SECC Volunteer Infographic.

What is SECC?

The Delaware State Employees’ Charitable Campaign (SECC) is an annual fundraising campaign. Every year, from September 1 through October 31, SECC gives employees and pensioners the opportunity to learn about, connect with, and support several nonprofit organizations that benefit the health and welfare of all Delawareans.

Visit secc.delaware.gov to learn more about the campaign and participating charities.

How do volunteers help make SECC a success?

Employee volunteers called Chairs and Captains help promote participating charities, coordinate fundraising activities, and collect donations throughout the campaign. Leadership nominates Chairs to lead the entire department and Captains represent sections within the department. This structure varies for each department.

Chairs and Captains are essential to the success of SECC. They know the best ways to connect with employees and inspire them to participate in the campaign.

Check out the SECC Blog to learn more about the fun and creative ways that Chairs and Captains have helped promote participating charities and raise money for SECC.
