DOL’s Pirate Themed Coin Wars!

Arrr, mateys! The Delaware Department of Labor (DOL) set sail for some friendly competition with its pirate-themed Penny Wars fundraiser in support of the 2026 SECC Campaign! From September 14 through October 16, employees across multiple DOL locations battled division against division, collecting spare change and bills to earn points and compete for the ultimate treasure—a pizza party! With creative displays, a little friendly rivalry, and plenty of team spirit, employees turned everyday pocket change into an opportunity to give back. A huge thank-you to everyone who donated, participated, and helped organize this fun-filled fundraiser in support of charitable organizations throughout Delaware!
