SECC Kickoff Luncheon for Campaign Chairs and Captains



Secretary Yvonne Anders Gordon shares remarks as ten nonprofit representatives line up to share about their organization and impact to campaign chairs and captains.

On July 29, 2025, the State Employees’ Charitable Campaign (SECC) held its kickoff luncheon at the Modern Maturity Center. Campaign chairs and captains from across state agencies came together to celebrate giving back.

Hosted by the Department of Human Resources, the event included remarks from Secretary Yvonne Anders Gordon, a recorded message from Governor Matt Meyer, and fundraising tips from Jim Robinson, Director of Training and HR Solutions. Senator Dan Cruce of United Way and nonprofit representatives also spoke about the impact of state employee contributions.

  • DelDOT (including Transit): $41,578.38
  • Department of Correction: $41,566.31
  • Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS): $30,510.25
