DHR Closes Out the 2026 SECC Campaign with a Fall Festival at Reads Way!
DHR wrapped up its 2026 State Employees’ Charitable Campaign (SECC) in festive fashion on October 28th with a Fall Festival at Reads Way! The afternoon brought employees together for games, music, dancing, delicious food, raffles, and plenty of fall fun—all in support of a great cause!
Employees had the opportunity to show off their competitive sides with Giant Jenga, Ladder Ball, Connect 4, bowling, and a cornhole tournament, while prize games like Blow Your Top, Blind Ambition, and Aim for the Stems offered chances to win some fantastic prizes! The festivities also featured line dancing, a $1 jukebox, local vendors, and delicious lunch options from the **Love That Plate** food truck. Raffles added even more excitement, with gift baskets, vendor-donated items, and prizes including Longwood Gardens passes, Wilmington Blue Rocks tickets, and more!
Best of all, proceeds from the festivities benefited **Child, Inc.**, helping support an important organization in our community.
A huge thank-you to the DHR SECC Committee, volunteers, vendors, and everyone who participated in making this final event a special one! What a wonderful way to celebrate the generosity, teamwork, and community spirit that made the 2026 SECC campaign possible!
