Let’s raise our glasses and raise funds for a great cause. DOESA (Department of Education Staff Association) Paint Nite Event

DOESA (Department of Education Staff Association) is hosting a Paint Nite event to raise money for the department’s SECC drive – and you’re invited!

Where:   Fraizer’s Restaurant, 9 E. Loockerman Street, Dover

When:   5:30 p.m., Monday, October 24

Why:   Because we want to raise money for nonprofits working in our communities

How:   Register Now
At Paint Nite, a local artist will assist and inspire us – all while we socialize and sip cocktails for a great cause. We’ll end up painting fond memories and a priceless masterpiece.  No art experience needed!

Paint Nite will donate a portion of ticket sales to SECC.

DNREC Office of the Secretary is hosting our annual cupcake sale on October 24 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm to benefit the Delaware Center for Homeless Veterans through the SECC.

Go Vote! What is the best way to get you prepared to vote in the upcoming election and support the SECC?

September 7 (Kent County – Legislative Mall) & September 8 (New Castle County – Carvel State Office Building)

The 2016 annual State Employee Charitable Campaign begins September 1, 2016!

Come join us in Dover on Legislative Mall for the Kent County Kick-Off Event on September 7, 2016, or at the Carvel State Office Building, 820 North French Street, Wilmington on September 8.

Charities will be on hand to share information. And, employees who attend one of the Statewide SECC Kickoff Events, will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card provided by United Way. Governor Markell will speak at 10:00 at both events.

We are offering the Early Bird Incentive again this year thanks to a donation from United Way. Make sure you donate early to have a chance to win!

The 2016 SECC Campaign will begin on September 1, 2016

We hope that you will again give generously to the campaign and help those in need! State Employees Give from their Hearts and help our communities in so many ways. Thank you for your support!

August 9 (Kent County) & August 16 (New Castle County)

Important Notice for Chairs and Captains!

Chair and Captain Training will take place in Kent County on August 9th and in New Castle County on August 16th. We will also visit a charity to volunteer from 12-2!   Please RSVP to reserve your place! If you cannot attend, we have an eLearning that will be available. Let us know which one you will attend by e-mailing SECC.
